2. RETURNS
thecherrytreeuk.com will accept returns for an exchange or for a refund only if the merchandise is in original purchase condition with its original retail packaging and only within 30 days from the date of shipment. All returns must be authorized by e-mail prior to return. You may acquire a return authorization by e-mailing contact@thecherrytree.com (please include the name of the person who purchased the merchandise). All returns must include the original receipt or invoice and a brief explanation stating why you are not satisfied with the product. Shipping & handling charges are not refundable and shipping charges for merchandise returns are the responsibility of the customer. We will not accept returns of products damaged as a result of misuse or neglect. Customer may want to insure the package with the shipper as thecherrytreeuk.com will not be held responsible for lost or misdirected returns. Customer will receive refund upon our receipt and satisfactory inspection of the merchandise.
3. WARRANTIES
thecherrytree.com is an internet retailer and warrants its products to be free of defects in material and workmanship for 90 days from the shipment date unless otherwise noted. thecherrytreeuk.com will replace any item returned to us within the parameters of this policy and found to be defective. All returned warranty-issue merchandise must be properly packed for a safe return shipment and in original purchase condition with the original packaging, the original receipt/invoice/packing slip and a an explanation of the item's problem. thecherrytreeuk.com will not refund, credit or cover shipping expenses for warranty item returns or warranty item replacements under any circumstances. thecherrytreeuk.com is not liable for misuse of its products. This warranty does not cover damage due to abuse, neglect, alteration, failure to follow instructions, shipping damage or damaged packaging.
PLEASE NOTE: thecherrytreeuk.com is not responsible for shipping costs on any returns. thecherrytreeuk.com will pay for shipping on sending replacement item.
Errors and changes: Shipping errors will be charged to your account in all cases except those that occur as a direct result of our processing procedures. Shipping errors include shipment refusals, incorrect address, address changes, order changes and failed delivery attempts. Charges incurred from shipping errors include return postage/freight costs, £5.00 per address change/correction, costs for refused shipments, costs for lost shipments and any costs for reshipment. a 20% restocking fee will be subtracted for all returned orders that are refunded to a customer due to any of the errors above.
